Bernie Sanders Protests RFK Jr. By Sporting “I Love Vaccines” Onesie On Senate Floor

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In one last defiant protest to RFK Jr.’s cabinet nomination, Senator Bernie Sanders waltzed into the Senate Chamber on Tuesday sporting an adult onesie with the phrase “I Love Vaccines” written across the front.

The move came after Sanders blasted the environmental lawyer for allegedly selling anti-vax-themed baby onesies through his organization, Children’s Health Defense.

As Majority Leader Thune was calling the Senate to order, Sanders rushed to the podium in an ill-fitting, thinly veiled baby garment to warn his fellow members about Kennedy’s extremist views.

“Point of privilege, Mr. Majority Leader,” Sanders blurted out as frantically waved a rattle in the air. “I have four simple, but important words for my fellow senators. Goo goo. Gaa gaa. Since our Judiciary Committee hearing not three days ago, I’ve spent hours upon hours talking to babies who are deathly afraid of Mr. Kennedy’s extreme, anti-vax views. Deathly afraid. Many of these babies told me personally that they love vaccines. In fact, some of them even announced that they ‘loved vaccines’ as their first words. That’s why I’m wearing this ‘I Love Vaccines’ onesie in solidarity - which can also be purchased on my campaign website for a quite reasonable $14.99 - and urging my colleagues to vote NO on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”

At press time, Sanders was spotted at a Georgetown day school painstakingly trying to explain the need for PBM reform to a bunch of crying toddlers.
