Kamala Harris Says Approval Rating Is Actually Great If You Flip The Numbers Upside Down And Squint Real Hard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - With the presidential election rapidly approaching, Democratic strategists are panicking as a new poll shows the Biden administration with a record-low approval rating of 29%.

When asked about the poll in an interview with Katie Couric last Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris didn’t seem concerned, saying, “You know, if you take 29, flip it upside down, and squint real hard, our approval rating is actually 62%. That’s pretty good. It’s the highest approval rating since George W. Bush, and we didn’t have 9/11 to pad the stats. It just shows that the American people know that Bidenomics is working and our country is in good hands.”

“You’re not serious, are you?” Couric responded. “That’s not how numbers work. You can’t just turn your head upside down and make up your own approval rating.”

“I disagree, Katie. I believe that part of what makes this country so great is that you can do anything you set your mind to. And ultimately, that’s what makes our administration so special. Because we don’t pay attention to negativity. Joe and I know that the best way to protect our basic, constitutional freedoms like access to abortion, free health care, and the right to live under any freeway underpass in America is with positive vibes and love,” the Vice President said, giggling.

Despite repeatedly returning to the question, Couric eventually gave up when it became clear that Harris didn’t understand the severity of the low poll numbers. Instead, the Vice President rambled on about her recent “diplomatic” trip to Cabo, her favorite nail salons in D.C., and this month’s Cosmo.
