Man Celebrates First Parlay Win Of The Season At Divorce Proceedings
DENVER, CO - “Are you kidding me?!” 36-year-old Brock Williams shouted at his divorce proceedings on Monday. But Brock wasn’t reacting to the news that he was going to lose custody of his children or his house. Rather, he was celebrating winning his first parlay of the season after the Nets-Lakers game hit a 240.5 total points over thanks to a last-minute triple-double from Lebron James.
Brock’s soon to be ex-wife, Lauren, was somewhat pleased to hear Brock’s initial reaction, hopeful that Brock was realizing the severity of the situation and would commit to turning things around in their marriage. That’s when Brock jumped out of his chair, pulled a handful of baby powder from his pocket, and proceeded to pace around the room doing Lebron’s signature celebration.
“See what I’m dealing with?!” Lauren pleaded with the attorney. “All he cares about is gambling. We haven’t had a vacation in years cause he insists that he’s going to win big one of these days and we’ll never have to work again. He wakes me up in the middle of the night screaming ‘cover the spread, cover the spread’. I don’t even know what that means!”
Despite repeated attempts to get through to Brock, nothing Lauren nor their attorney said could get his attention as he immediately began to place another parlay with his recent winnings. “Alright, what do we think?” he said openly. “Jason Tatum over 20 points, Patrick Mahomes first half touchdown, and Israel Adesanya 3rd round TKO. Makes sense right? Doesn’t matter, I’m locking it in.”
At press time, Brock was seen at a local sports bar completely unaware that his now ex-wife was taking shots with their attorney just three tables down.
