NEW YORK, NY - On Tuesday, super tolerant and open-minded sports and political commentator Keith Olbermann unveiled his reasonable plan to help Democrats win in November by rounding up all Trump supporters and putting them in concentration camps.  

“I don’t see what’s wrong with putting every last member of the MAGA cult in Dachau-esque work camps until they let go of their ideology,” Olbermann said affectionately. “If Trump is going to keep spewing rhetoric straight from the pages of Adolf Hitler’s dream journal, we might as well give him and his supporters a taste of their own medicine.” 

According to Olbermann’s benevolent plan, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Transportation would work in conjunction to build rededication camps and use public transportation systems to ship the extremists in. His plan would also require a revival of the Ministry of Truth, which would be responsible for putting together lists of MAGA members and distributing red armbands to distinguish them from normal civilians.

While Republicans have called on Olbermann to apologize for his statements, Democrats and left-leaning organizations have come out in full support. “I think it makes perfect sense,” political savant and history buff Whoopi Goldberg said. “I don’t think there’s been a time in history where it’s been this important to stop crazy people from doing or saying crazy things. And I don’t want to hear that it’s political persecution or whateva. It’s what needs to be done to protect democracy.”

At press time, MSNBC reported that Olbermann never said anything about putting Trump supporters in concentration camps and that Republicans were responsible for pushing a false narrative to distract from the fact that they want to kill Mexicans en masse.
