In these circumstances, they have a tendency to roll over to try and get some sleep immediately after landing. Similar to how a horse will just give out if it\u2019s too tired,\u201d former pilot Barry Mumford said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to surveillance footage at the Minneapolis Airport, the pilots were seen affectionately stroking the plane\u2019s side and whispering sweet nothings to encourage it to make it one more flight just before takeoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, audio recordings with air traffic controllers revealed that the pilots stopped using official flight terminology when landing, as they just kept repeating, \u201cthis old girl needs a break.\u201d\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At press time, Canadian officials announced that they would make sure each plane that traveled
