Kash Patel Kicks Off Nomination Hearing With Bhangra Dance Routine

WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Thursday, President Trump’s nominee for FBI Director, Kash Patel, went in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee for his confirmation hearing.

As Senators were still grabbing their seats and organizing their notes, nearly a dozen spectators jumped out of their seats, lined up behind Patel, and broke out into a traditional Indian dance routine typically performed at weddings or grand ceremonies.

“Who is ready to party!” Patel shouted Jay Z’s Punjabi-inspired hit Mundian To Bach Ke blasted over the speakers.

91-year-old Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley immediately tried to call things to order by banging his gavel and demanding Patel stop his shenanigans but couldn’t regain control as even some of the Democratic Senators started to bob their heads.

At press time, Patel’s mom was seen handing out bowls of her “world-famous” Tikka Masala to the committee members in the hope of persuading them to vote in favor of her son.
