Man Miraculously Burns 10,000 Calories Jogging In Place While Waiting For The Light To Change

BOULDER, CO - In what some are calling the fitness hack of the century and others are calling a technological glitch, 38-year-old Kevin Smith reportedly burned 10,000 calories jogging in place while waiting for the light to change on Thursday afternoon.

“I always thought those people who jogged in place at the light were so stupid.” Smith said. “But I decided to see what the fuss was all about when I went on a run the other day, and I couldn’t believe what happened. Right before the light turned green, I looked at my Apple Watch, and it told me I burned 10,000 calories in just those 20 seconds. It was a miracle!”

After his discovery, Smith decided that there was no need to work out and quickly went back home to share his new fitness hack on social media. Within just a few hours, his hack went viral, earning him a $3 million dollar podcast deal from Spotify.

Despite his newfound fame, not everyone is a fan. Fitness gurus like David Goggins, Andrew Huberman, and Joe Rogan have slammed Smith’s hack as “complete bullshit” and “scientifically impossible”. But that hasn’t stopped millions of impressionable teens and young adults from flocking to the streets to take part in the trend.

In some cities like New York and Los Angeles, thousands of people have reportedly flooded popular streets to record themselves participating in the trend, overwhelming law enforcement and causing massive traffic delays.

At press time, Smith furthered his fame by posting a new viral groundbreaking fitness hack that promised to help someone gain 10 pounds of muscle in 30 minutes by walking around the neighborhood with 5 pound weights.
